I started this blog as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Macedonia (Eastern Europe) in September 2005. After being medically separated from the Peace Corps in 2007, I started graduate school to get my Masters in Teaching. I earned my degree in July 2008. Current adventure: Substitute Teaching and Job Hunting!

I'm an adventurer and people person, addicted to traveling around the world one region at a time. I love to challenge myself by trying new things and I'm a bit of a dreamer who tries to be down to earth most of the time. I refuse to let fear prevent me from living life and pursuing my dreams and encourage all to do the same. I'm a Seattle native, graduated from the University of Oregon in 1997 with a BS in Psychology. I also just received my Masters in Teaching from Seattle University in July, 2008. I plan to be an elementary school teacher, with my ideal level being between 3rd-5th grade.
